I began around 14 years ago, working with people at risk of suicide. I have since worked in the NHS, private and charity sectors. My experience has included working with anxiety, relationship issues, OCD, depression, anger, substance misuse and bereavement.

I have also worked within a Dynamic Interpersonal Therapy model, which considers core ways of responding and reacting to significant others, facilitating new or pre-existing ways to relate.

Training & approaches

My training was in psychodynamic, cognitive-behavioural (CBT) and person-centred approaches to counselling and psychotherapy. I have since worked with people from a wide variety of backgrounds and circumstances.

I have attended many trainings, conferences and seminars on the nature of wellbeing and relationships, and keep up to date with the latest research and developments.

I have also undertaken research on the topics of gender, language acquisition and autistic spectrum conditions.
